ANT-MAN
APPEARANCE:
Red and black suit with a silver helmet, seems to be hist most liked appearance and I agree. This was my favorite version that I found by Sury Shankha Chakraborty. The colorization is pretty well done and I love the thumb up pose, it adds personality into the picture. A solid well done concept of Ant-Man, which I can see be used in the game.

PROFILE:
Class: Vanguard
In my opinion Ant-Man would be able to fit in any role, but I decided to design him as a vanguard. Wasp is already a strategist and I want them to have different classes, since they have similar abilities. So I had to decide between duelist and vanguard, but I don't see him as a main fighter more someone who assists his allies. With that I made him a vanguard to help his teammates on the front.
Base Stats:
Health: 625
Movement Speed: 7m/s
Ant-Ma isn't really one of the bulkier types so I gave him lower health than most of them have, which is also the reason why I gave him more movement speed then all the other vanguards.

Ant-Man is not really known for using some form of guns or other range attacks, so I let him punch his enemies in a quick three punch combo.

Effect: It shrinks the hit enemy, and hinders it at using abilities or normal attacks

At first the technology would shrink and objects around him, but further inventing he was able to shrink himself at will and create these discs which can shrink others. The shrunken enemy is still able to move so it is hard to kill it, but the main usage of that is more of ending an ultimate or taking one enemy out of the team-fight.

One of the main features of Ant-Man is to shrink, but at the same time it would be horrible to fight against an extremely small enemy, so instant I decided to use it as an escape or engage tool. Especially since he is a melee character, this will help him to get more or less unharmed to the enemies.

Ant-mans helmet is able to emit an electric disruptor, and so I decided to use this feature to silence enemies. In combination with his right click, Ant-Man becomes a good disruptor vanguard, who can stop enemies from using their abilities. Right know there is know one in Marvel Rivals who can silence, which gives him a unique role to fulfil.

When Ant-Man is small, he still has his normal power, which let his tiny body have the jump power of a normal size adult. It also helps him to get behind enemy lines or make his escape easier.

Letting Ant-Man become extremely big was always my idea form his a an ultimate. With his new normal attacks, he can damage enemies on the ground with his left click and flying ones with his right click. Since he is so big, I though it would make a lot of sense for him to be immune to crowd control. One thing that balance it out, is that he can't use it anytime. Some places on the maps, doesn't have the aerial space for him to grow this big, but on the other hand he will become a good defender of a capture point.

Since he stands right in the enemy team, I gave him this passive to increase his durability, because he has not so much health than other vanguards and no ability that blocks incoming damage.

Wasp: HAVE A RIDE

Wasp: 10% Healing Boost

Ant-Man: When Wasp is small due to SHRINKING, Ant-man can press the jump button near her to shrink and hop on her back. He can't attack or use abilities and by pressing the jump button again he hops out of her back and become normal size.

Ant-Man and Wasp are an iconic duo, so it is only natural for them to have a team-up ability. Since Ant-Man is a melee vanguard, having someone who can get him close to the enemies is in my book a good way for him to unleash his ultimate (Q) on unsuspecting enemies.
